pad is textile lifestyle. few other home textile brands capture the fashion zeitgeist as authentically. founded in 2006, pad launches a complete collection three times a year, each containing directional trends for the season. heavily inspired by current fashion trends, our in-house design department in mertingen, swabia creates textile accessories with unique signatures. for over a decade, all our cushions, throws and towels have been manufactured almost exclusively in europe under careful conditions and are certified according to oeko-tex® standard 100.

to strengthen our team, we are looking for a procurement assistant (m/f/d) in full-time or part-time at our mertingen location, starting immediately.

your tasks

• cost-, schedule- and demand-driven procurement of our goods and samples from existing suppliers
• soliciting quotations from our suppliers in europe and asia
• processing of complaints
• communication with suppliers and logistics service providers
• monitoring of delivery dates, constant monitoring of inventory levels and deriving purchasing suggestions
• cost negotiations with suppliers
• invoice verification, monitoring and control of article stocks as well as maintenance of article and supplier master data
• communication with our design team as well as internal and external sales
• comprehensive preparation of monthly purchasing meetings
• product management in the form of product analysis

your profile

• successfully completed commercial training or a comparable degree
• several years of professional experience in procurement or alternatively product management
• negotiation skills, assertiveness and a structured, solution-oriented way of working
• experience with ERP systems as well as very good Excel skills
• independent way of working and high willingness to perform
• very good German and English language skills, both spoken and written
• enjoyment working in a team with other purchasing staff as well as design and internal sales
